The Dancer's Theatre | Midwest Youth Performing Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides the young residents of Central Iowa an enriching environment of recreational and technical dance training and performance arts opportunities emphasizing creative content in an artistic, fun, and inclusive environment.
We depend on donations to provide unique experiences and quality programming. We are in great need of community support in order to offer classes, performances, and other special events, allowing students to continue to grow and develop their skills, confidence, and appreciation of the arts. Donations also contribute to costumes, set design, studio improvements, technical enhancements, master classes and guest artists, and so many other wonderful things that help our arts center thrive.
There are so many ways you can help! Individual and/or corporate donations can be made monthly, annually, or even just once. Contributions made to The Dancer's Theatre are 100% tax deductible. Adopt-an-Artist & Scholarships
Our Adopt-an-Artist program allows donors to contribute to a student's training and performance opportunities offered at TDT. Families that experience financial difficulties appreciate the charitable acts of kindness that allow young artists to continue to enrich themselves through classes, camps, workshops, and participate in shows. Donations also allow students to purchase shoes, dance wear, and other necessities that may come up.
Donations can be made either to a specific family's account, or can be put into the scholarship fund to be allocated as needed on a case-by-case basis.
